Victims Complaints

Complaints emanating from inhuman treatments sent to POHAI triggered action and intervention procedures through the national human rights commission to ascertain the level of human rights abuses and possible mitigation in Ogwa land.

Our interventions are usually possible through advocacy, town hall meetings, conflict resolution, door-to-door sensitization on harmful traditional practices and total abrogation activities.

Over the years this has caused so much damage to the image of certain individuals in the region referred to as OSU, OHU, or UME, and the scares (stigmatization) of this dehumanization remains….
